API Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 17, 2026
Important: By creating an API account, generating API keys, or making any API requests, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Predikt ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Predikt Public API ("API" or "Service").
By accessing or using the API, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the API on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the API. Your continued use of the API constitutes your ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any modifications thereto.
2. API Account Registration
2.1 Account Creation
To use the API, you must create an API account by connecting a valid Solana wallet address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and any associated private keys. We will never ask for your private keys.
2.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring your API keys are not exposed in client-side code, public repositories, or shared with unauthorized parties
2.3 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3. Deposits and Payments
3.1 Prepaid Balance
The API operates on a prepaid balance model. You must deposit funds (SOL or USDC) to your API account before making requests. All API usage is deducted from your prepaid balance in real-time.
3.2 Non-Refundable Deposits
Important: All deposits are final and non-refundable. There are no withdrawals. By depositing funds, you acknowledge and accept that these funds cannot be withdrawn and can only be used for API services. Only deposit what you intend to use.
3.3 Pricing
API pricing is published on our Billing & Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with reasonable notice. Continued use of the API after pricing changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
3.4 Currency Conversion
Deposits in SOL are converted to USD at the current market rate at the time of deposit. USDC deposits are credited at a 1:1 USD rate. We are not responsible for any losses due to cryptocurrency price fluctuations.
3.5 Minimum Balance
Certain features (such as WebSocket connections) require a minimum account balance. If your balance falls below the required minimum, access to these features may be suspended until additional funds are deposited.
